This is what it means to me….

For the last 6 months, I have not posted on my tumblr because I thought that my ex-girlfriend was still following me. Now, the issue does not lie with her being my ex. I broke up with her. But the issue is, I still care about her. I wanted to save the next post I did so I could truely tell her how bad I felt. When I said I wanted to be friends, I was serious. But when you told me out of the blue when we were dating, that you did not want to be friends if we broke up, I took that as you don’t want to even talk to me if we broke up. I can understand that, I really can. But the thing is, we didn’t break up cause one of us was cheating, we didn’t break up because we didn’t get along. We broke up cause we just didn’t click right to me.

Now that I say that out loud I realize that you were someone special to me. And while it may not have worked out as a couple, I think we made a great pair of people. It is only now, after 6 months, and alot of meds that I finally have the nerves to tell you this.

I still like you Ella.

Now I know we aren’t getting back together, and thats fine, thats not what I am looking for. All I want was for you to hear me out and for you to know that I have not stopped thinking about how I hurt you 6 months ago. And for that I am deeply sorry.

The only thing I want out of all of this, is to know that you at least saw this, and you can at least forgive me. It would at least be nice to be on talking terms again. and if you don’t talk to me ever again, I will always know that I tried and I apologized for what I did wrong.

Democratic vs. Republican Political Tactics: An Analysis
To properly compare, merchandise was picked from the official sites of the national committees of the respective parties: http://www.gop.com/ and http://www.democrats.org/
Two bumper stickers and one button was chosen from each.
DEMOCRATIC: Across the board, designs focus on simplicity and aesthetics.
Each is to-the-point and efficient.
Each item is a badge of honor — promoting yourself and the Democratic party:
0 out of 5 bumper stickers criticize those who disagree with them,
0 out of 2 buttons criticize those who disagree with them.
REPUBLICAN: Across the board, relies on catchy slogans. Only one out of the nineteen bumper sticks relies on simplicity rather than a saying.
Designs are haphazard and scattered; I was honestly surprised that this was the official site and not just a bad Cafepress offshoot.
Merchandise relies heavily on bringing down the opposition rather than promoting themselves.
11 out of 19* bumper stickers criticize those who disagree with them,
7 out of 13* buttons criticize those who disagree with them.
*These are the ones with a direct criticism/attack. There are more which are borderline attacks, which were not included in these statistics.

Although, my great-aunt and -uncle have a hilarious sticker that says,“Voting is like driving a carChose (D) to move forward,Chose (R) to move backwards.”But it’s not an official committee sticker, which is the difference.

Paige, I like that sticker you mentioned though, aha…I just find it amusing when people make clever things like that =P

I like this immensely…
